New Armor - Almost Done by Azmal New Armor - Almost Done by Azmal
Wanted to upload a quick shot of the newest commissioned set of armor that is almost done. Full arms and greaves are all that are left and they're even mostly assembled.

So far I don't have a name for it. In the shop it's just been called the black and silver suit.

Description and other details and such I'll put up when I get it finished and a new photo put up.

As always, thanks for looking.

More cool armor in my gallery and at the PrinceArmory.com website [link]

What style of armor were you basing this off of?

Well the kind that exists in my head I suppose : ) You won't find much historically accurate design in my stuff unless it's commissioned specifically. You will see tribute to historic function however.

It looked like a hybrid of styles of armor. The high collar made me think Outworld, the pauldrons looked like an Imperial Chinese/European Knight mix, and the tasset looked a little like Chinese. It looked mostly European because of the plate armor. All in all, it's quite an impressive suit. I've got to check out your website!

it's so gorgeous! I love it! O___O

And now I shall stare at it longingly, wishing it upon me... somehow, free... >>; Cause I've seen /some/ of the pricing on these things, and there's no way I'd be able to buy any of it.

dang, I definitely would've thought the silver was actually metal if I hadn't known otherwise. I like the floral borders you've got on that.

Fantastic work. I really love the engraved designs and how it gives it a very cut, finished look. Can't wait to see it finished. ^^

Defiance armor? I don't know, the high collar made me think that.

I like this, the skirt is rediculous!

As others have said, nice work on turning leather into metal. ^_^
I really like the scale work, and the gold "P" stands out. I'm guessing that's the commissioner's initial.

Nope, P for Prince Armory. I'm starting to put my crest on things. I ask first to make sure it's fine. Thanks

Could you possibly send/make me a pattern for those spaulders?

I've been working on a comission of my own, and Im having the hardest time getting the shoulders correct.
