Leather Paladin Gauntlets - 2 by Azmal Leather Paladin Gauntlets - 2 by Azmal
The gauntlets of the paladin leather armor set I've been working on are now complete. I'll be finished with the rest soon. Turning out pretty well I think.

Would you believe these are the first pair of gauntlets I've made?

You definitely are one of the best leather armor makers that I have seen. Everything is great.

Are those chicago screws that are holding the plates together? They look too big to be cap rivets and they don't press into the leather. I always run a leather or canvas strap thru to attach articulated parts, but this will save some space on the inside.

very nice, did you use industrial paint or water based paint, looks surprisingly clean and thick.

the scaling(layering?) on the hands is beautiful.

I like the emblem near the top of the cuff.

Wow. I've just browsed through your gallery, and I must say that I'm simply amazed. I had no idea that it was possible to do all that stuff with leather (that dragon armor was great!). All those details and stuff.

I wonder, how much do you charge for commissions? I'm probably too poor to ask for any of your work, but I did play with a thought of asking for one pairless gauntlet. If I can afford it, that is.

If you don't mind a bit of a wait I'll have some standard gauntlets to add to my product line and those will be cheaper than having something custom commissioned. Busy busy.

Nicely done. These definitely have the fantasy feel while still looking like functional armor. It's a tricky thing to accomplish, but you seem to have done it well.

It's a stamping tool. Probably from Tandy.
