High Backed Gothic Gauntlets by Azmal High Backed Gothic Gauntlets by Azmal
These are a new design made to be a standard item in the future when the Prince Armory website goes live and also for eBay sales.

They are a stylized version of German Gothic Gauntlets and this set is a bit longer than gauntlets really should be which would be great if you aren't wearing vambraces and/or big elbows.

Everything is fully articulating, able to move completely. All hardened leather with Chicago screws and metal rivets.

They will come in any color and the border tooling will come standard. The black border may come standard too.

Color coordinated gloves to match the color of the gauntlets will probably also be standard.

Gauntlets are probably my favorite part of armor, followed closely by unique pauldrons (shoulder armor) and cool helmets.

Price yet to be determined.

More cool armor stuff in my gallery and at my website at PrinceArmory.com [link]

epic would the leather be able to withstand a steel blade or is it just decorative piece

Awesome and very pretty with the vibrant blue colour.

Do you mind if I ask how the fingers... stay on for lack of a better term. Are they attached to the glove fingers in some way?

very awesome, if leather works weren't so expensive I would most definitely buy a pair from you, I hope you make alot of money off of those because you deserve as much for your prodigious skills

Great piece! I hope it's not inconsiderate to ask, but where do you get the gloves you use for gauntlets?

Not inconsiderate at all. But there's no specific answer either though, I've bought a ton of different gloves all over the net trying to find the perfect glove for gauntlets... no dice yet. Found some good ones here and there but not quite what I'm looking for.

Would you mind sharing the sites for some of the more inexpensive ones so I could practice a bit on them?

Your best bet is to use google shopping, yahoo shopping, price grabber, and bizrate, and search those places with terms like 'leather glove' or 'deerskin glove' and then sorting by lowest price first. Walmart also have some cheap gloves you can experiment on.

Very impressive. They remind me in some ways of gloves for motorcycle racing; I guess armor hasn't changed *that* much.

Very nice, I love simple yet stylish designs in gauntlets, such as this =D
I agree, they are definately the best part of armor. It REALLY sucks to get hit in the hands! I don't mind getting hit in the arm or leg or torso, or hell even the head if it's not the face, but getting hit in the hand just sucks ass! Makes it hard to hold onto things for a while >_<
