Great detailing, and excellent overall impression :) I like the mix of blue/organic, black/scale male colour. The dragon head motives are also in perfect quantity: Neither too many, neither too few of them..just right.  I also like the "honesty" that comes with it: Many armor/weapons are MADE to look realistic, but would by no way have worked in the past. This costume here openly displays it does not try to incorporate a (non existent) realism, but wears the badge of "Fantasy trope" openly on it's sleeve (well...if it HAD any sleeves) ;)

There are many fantasy tropes you cannot incorporate: E.g. hardly anyone can pull off the "7 foot Barbarian with basketball sized biceps" look, many will be too young for the ancient mage, etc... . The "scantily clad chainmail (okay: Dragon Mail in that case) bikini babe" actually is one of those low/funny/computer games fantasy tropes that can be pulled off close to the original (being nice to look at for us guys of course being an additional benefit :) )

What's going to stop her from being cut in two or losing all her limbs or getting her face smashed in with a mace? O^O'

That is a great question.  My best guess would be the lack of swords or maces being flailed in modern society.

as a female fighter, I was wondering if you've done any realistic armour by chance? something the won't get my tits lopped off or gouged in the stomach. I like how elaborate your work is. I'm just looking for a full cuirass and fauld.
