Dragon Armor Gauntlets by Azmal Dragon Armor Gauntlets by Azmal
Dragon Claw Gauntlets. (Part of a set.)
I realized I never got around to uploading the finished gauntlets for the female dragon armor and since I've put out several gauntlets recently I figured I'd update the pic. So here it is.

Fully articulated and completely movable. All leather, all hardened. Heavily tooled with scales and unique vibrant multi color scheme. It's also got claw tips.

wow cool. how on earth do you create the scale texture? is it a stamp type thing or do you do them all individually?

*stares* O.O *blink* Shiiiiinnny. What the heck type of paint did you use? I'm currently working on making some Vincent Valentine gauntlets out of leather and need a good golden shine. These are absolutely beautiful, mate. You are so talented!!

Cool, I made some of those too. There in my gallery somewhere. As for paint you gotta experiment till you find a good brand that will work for the specific leather you're using.

Wow, Astounding colouring. What weight of leather did you use? Would it be thick enough to give decent protection or are these purely for show?

Used 10oz leather and yes, because of the layers and hardening it would provide sufficient protection.

Well, I'm just waiting for somebody to commission one. If you were serious, instead of saving, you could get on payments and I could build the armor along the way and by the time it's paid for, it'll be ready to ship out. actually quicker in the end than saving up, then buying and getting in the queue and waiting for it to be made.

Well this piece was commissioned and isn't for sale but I of course take commissions. Something as elaborate as the full dragon armor ranges well into the thousands. Takes a lot of time.
