These were commissioned to go with the already made gryphon armor. Next item to match that suit will be gauntlets.

Most folks don't seem to know what a 'frog' is. It is basically a holder of sorts. In these 2 examples, the sword frog has 4 buckles that hold the sword by its sheath at an angle and has another buckle to adjust the angle of the sword. The axe frog has two decorative rings that will hold the axe at a slight angle. Either frog will hang on a belt.

Out of curiosity, since I didn't actually know what a frog was (in this case) till I came here, would the sheath sit through the metal hoop and ring that's shown on the left image? And the buckles shown on the right would they go on to the belt worn by the person?

Very nice design! I saw a lot of frogs at the Renaissance Faire in Wi, but none as neat as those!

Wow, creative...well I find so, anyways. The colors also go well together, too. Awesome work!

Just goes to show you, even the small things matter, in which case they need just as much attention as the rest. :) Very nice work.

Could we get a detail shot of the metal rings?

What do you use as a paint, beyond the obvious dyes.
