This color scheme gives it a very dwarven look to it. Black and silver might make it seem... I don't know... Vader-ish?

Oh, and, yeah, if you aren't actually living comfortably off of your leatherworking skill it is by grave injustice. You are really top-notch and do truly great work! I like everything I've seen in your gallery!

Well thanks. Things aren't bad and I only have my self to blame for not charging enough I guess. I'm getting more business oriented bit by bit though.

The red and gold make it look like Japanese lacquer work, really not a bad choice at all I think.

That, sir, is a TON of rivets. I tried working with rivets on my leather hauberk and decided I'd focus on chain mail ... I'll let my friends, the people at Schmitthenner, and lords of leather working like you deal with those nasty little buggers.

It looks to me like the gold inlay is an actual design but the resolution of the picture makes it kinda blurry.

Regardless, yours is the best leather work I've ever seen. Kudos.
