This is the second harness of armor I made per my own design and now I've compiled the angles for ease of viewing and less clutter in my gallery. I'm moving the separate pics to my scraps so the nice comments will still be there and to condense my gallery.
Made at and during the Arizona Ren Fest of '06 (Feb/March)
Comprised of pauldrons with reverse/upward articulations. Scale flaps to guard the crotch and underarms. Forearms and hand covered by bracers/demi-gauntlet hybrid thing with scales there too. The breastplate and tassets, and then the grieves too. And a lot of wet-molded spines and snarly stuff. Tooling/stamping around all the borders too.
All 10-11 oz tooling hide and USMC black.
Be sure to check out my other armored stuffs.
I'm usually open for commissions for all types of items; well, I should say always open, just the wait time varies.
So I was browsing dA's selection of pictures based on the keywords "black armor" ...and I found this.
May I say that this is absolutely amazing? It's a beautiful design, but still aggressive and looks as though it has the full potential to hurt someone if the wearer so chose.
I skimmed through a few comments and I like how your armor is built for comfort first. I like to design armor now and then, but what I design probably isn't practical, nor comfortable, haha.
I think I'll have a look through your gallery for inspiration the next time I attempt another armor design on my characters, if that's okay with you? I'll credit you if I use any of your designs. 8)
Many of my designs are made one of a kind specifically for a single client. Having duplicates, even variants, from other makers would diminish that quality so I am sorry but I cannot consent to your request unfortunately. Take all the inspiration you can manage, but the designs in whole or in part must remain unique.
