It was a very close race in the end (As of 7 PM my time, it won by 3 votes!) but its time to wrap up the poll and the armor design that is to win this challenge is on the character Michael by Wen-M and was submitted by EnigmaticEmpress





I have several motives for this challenge. One of which is because if I ever start doing work for movies, odds are there will be plenty of instances where I'll have to make the armor from a concepts artist's design instead of my own, so this will serve as great practice. I also knew which ever submission won would be very intricate and eye catching that would challenge and improve my skill. Additionally I thought it would get some extra exposure here on DA and I figured it would also serve to get the artist some extra traffic as well, but I didn't know who the submissions would be and of course I know Wen-M definitely doesn't need the extra traffic lol And of course it will make another good portfolio piece for me and hopefully everyone will enjoy seeing armor that was once beautiful art into a real life wearable and functional armor.

I'll be posting various updates along the way for anyone wanting to follow the progress of this set. I'll be ordering the leather after the weekend is over and starting on it soon and working on it alongside other commissions.
